WHY IS JAWAR ENGAGED IN BOLD LIES AND WHY ARE HIS INTELLECTUAL GROUPIES ACTING LIKE A TEENAGER ON HIS/HER FIRST CRUSH?
Do not take me wrong. I know all politicians lie. That is par for the course. But Jawar is in a league unto himself. I present three examples. In each case his lies were easily provable with hard evidence but that did not stop him.
1. After the crisis that he stupidly created, he deleted all damaging posts from his Facebook and claimed Facebook randomly deleted some of his old files because of heavy traffic. Facebook does not do that.
2. In a recent Interview with the NYTimes he told them that he will compete against Abiy and beat him to be the next Prime Minister. And then he posted on his Facebook stating he did not say that. He then went on accusing them of fabricating fake news. NYTimes is one of the premier newspapers in the US and they will not quote you without having a tape of the conversation. Jawar knows they have the tape but that did not stop him from lying.
3. In a video he talked about cutting the necks of Christians with a machete. And then lied to the Guardian newspaper. Here is what the Guardian wrote: "Jawar says the clip was doctored, adding that he would not say such a thing because his father was a Muslim and his mother a Christian." Jawar knows the clip is as authentic as the sun rising and setting with monotonous predictability. But that does not stop him from lying.
